Care Tips
Make your celebration last longer! Follow these simple tips to keep your handcrafted arrangements looking vibrant and festive:
General Care:
- Temperature Matters: Choose a cool indoor environment (ideally 62°F to 72°F). High heat causes balloons to expand and pop, while extreme cold can make them appear slightly deflated.
- Avoid Sunlight: Direct sunlight is the enemy of balloons. It causes them to oxidize (lose their shine) and can lead to premature popping.
- Indoor Only: Our custom arrangements are designed for indoor enjoyment. Wind, rain, and outdoor humidity can significantly shorten their lifespan and cause damage.
- The Car Warning: Never leave your arrangement in a parked car. The rapid temperature change can cause balloons to deflate or pop within minutes.
Stuffed & Specialty Balloons
- Handle with Love: All balloon arrangements are handcrafted and, while sturdy, should be treated as delicate art.
- Sharp Objects are the Enemy: Keep all balloons away from pets, rough surfaces, and sharp jewelry that could cause a puncture.
- Oxidation: Over time, latex balloons may develop a “velvety” or matte finish. This is a natural process called oxidation and is normal in the South Florida climate.
- The Weighted Base: Many of our arrangements include a water-filled weight for stability. Handle with care when moving the piece or when it’s time to pop.
Flower Box Care
- Hydration: Your flower box includes a water-soaked oasis foam and flower food. To keep them fresh, add a small amount of water to the center of the foam every 2–3 days using a small bottle.
Sustainability & Safety
- Smart Disposal: Once your balloons have reached their peak, please dispose of them responsibly. Cut the knot with scissors and place them in the trash. Never release balloons into the environment.
- Choking Hazard: Please keep uninflated or popped balloons away from children and pets.
